Our practice team
Our team is lead by Dr. Joachim Hornig who studied dental medicine at Berlin Humboldt University where he passed his exam as a certificated stomatologist in 1983 and where he successfully defended his dissertation. The assistants Carola Hornig, Franziska Haussmann and Nicole Nippa complete the team.

Range of services
We provide all services in the range of general dental medicine. Furthermore, also many dental surgery services including implantology are offered. We have three lasers for numerous applications, e.g. for drilling. Dental aesthetics is a main focus of our practice. You will get National Health dentures for free if you get the 30% bonus book grant from your health insurance company.

Dental aesthetics
To maintain the shining aesthetic of your smile we advise you to have a professional dental cleansing every six months. If you want to have brighter teeth, we can offer you the bleaching treatment. For the improvement of the dental aesthetic for teeth with fillings, we manufacture ceramic veneers, ceramic inlays, and full ceramic crowns. For those areas where already teeth are lost we can offer individual dentures of high quality.

Dental prophylaxis
Prophylaxis means provision, that is the prevention of dental and gum diseases. Prophylaxis will generally improve the health of the mouth and the teeth. Therefore the health insurance companies will pay the costs for a long-term prophylaxis programme for children and adolescents at the age of 6 to 19 years. But adults, too, should have a dental cleansing carried out by a professional prophylaxis assistant every six months. In our practice we carry out such a specific prophylaxis treatment. If you wish so, we will inform you in time ahead of your visit (recall). Just talk to us about it, we will advise you individually.

Dental surgery
The tip of a root is inflamed, maybe even a tooth must be pulled. But nowadays this might not always prove to be necessary as modern dental and jaw surgery offer a variety of methods to save an aching tooth. Especially the apicoectomy should be mentioned here. If a tooth must be pulled nonetheless, dental surgery makes it possible to implant an artificial root.

Dentures
Modern dentistry can fullfil the needs and wishes of the patients better and better. New technologies nowadays provide inconspicuously and naturally looking dentures. Dental reconstructions in the colour of natural teeth are now possible by means of new technologies with enamel an dentine bonding for front teeth as well as for molars. Ceramic dentures with innovative veneer technology is aesthetically superior to many other conventional denture technologies.

The only prerequisite is the approval of the fix grant of the 30% bonus by the patient�s health insurance company. German master laboratories get the components manufactured in Eastern European EU countries or in Asia, provide the guarantee, and pass on the price advantage to the patient.
